Introduction

In terms of the light environment, we set the overall color temperature to 2700K to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. To improve the quality of the light environment, we prioritized luminaires with good anti-glare properties in our selection. The arrangement of lights was done in a logical and hierarchical manner, taking into account the creative vision of the interior designer.

The front lobby features a unique artwork piece serving as its visual centerpiece, with the metal mesh "ginkgo leaf" created by the artist as the focal point. The "ginkgo leaf" was evenly illuminated using accent lighting. The placement of luminaires in the lobby was done in different areas to create a sense of hierarchy in the lighting. In the swimming pool area, the lighting was kept subtle, avoiding visible traces while highlighting important features.

The Guomao Apartment offers 412 guest rooms, ranging from single rooms to spacious four-bedroom suites, each with its unique design. Unlike traditional hotel rooms, the lighting design in the apartments had to consider the needs of long-term renters. The goal was to create a uniform and comfortable illumination, rather than a dramatic scene. Key elements were emphasized and a sense of hierarchy established, with a more flexible and user-friendly scene control compared to traditional hotel rooms.
