The project features three primary lighting systems: the washing effect on metal grilles, the spotlighting on textured aluminum panels, and the crystalline transparency achieved with U-glass. These elements are designed in harmony with the building's materials and structure, giving it a unique visual language. The entire scheme utilizes a warm white light of 4000K to create a natural and comforting light environment.
The challenge of projection lighting was significant, due to varying distances between the light poles and the building. Our precise on-site adjustments of each projector's angle ensured optimal illumination.
At the main entrance, a large digital display effectively enhances brand visibility. Minimal lighting modifications on the large glass curtain wall beyond the entrance highlight the sophisticated internal lighting environment.
Upon entering, the lofty lobby is bathed in soft light, creating a welcoming and luminous space, intentionally minimizing harsh direct lighting.
The mall's towering atrium avoids downward lighting, relying instead on a stratified approach to ambient light to meet its functional needs. Metal panels near the skylight are used to amplify visual impact. Additional projectors are strategically placed in higher, unused areas, adjusted to wash the ceiling thoroughly, eliminating any blandness.
Innovative approaches were also adopted in the multi-level corridors where traditional ceiling fixtures were replaced. Lights are installed on the vertical faces of the floor slabs to provide necessary illumination without the clutter of visible fixtures, creating an effect of light without any visible source.
The commercial thoroughfares employ large-scale lighting films, a method that fosters a uniformly bright and gentle ambience.
